Is my site a fit?

Operators usually look for:

  • 30–40 or more people on site on a typical day, or 150+ units in a building with a common area
  • Floor space and a standard power outlet nearby
  • Access for restocking (after-hours access helps)
  • Cell or Wi-Fi signal for card and tap payments

Smaller sites with a lot of customer traffic can still work. Not sure? Send your details and we'll tell you honestly, including if it's not a fit.

Step 1 of 6

What kind of business or building is it?

Questions hosts ask.

Straight answers, in the same words as the host terms.

What's the catch? How do you get paid?

The operator pays VendFynd when a machine is placed. You never pay. The operator covers the machine, install, stocking, service and removal. You provide the spot and an outlet, and the power it uses (roughly $15–20 a month). Most locations also receive a commission, set per location and agreed in writing before install.

How much power does a machine use?

About as much as a commercial fridge, roughly $15–20 a month. It plugs into a standard outlet. We tell you this up front so there are no surprises.

How does removal work?

It's month to month, with no fixed term and no lock-in. Give 30 days' notice at any time, by phone or email, and the machine is removed at no cost to you. New hosts also get a 30-day trial: if it isn't working for you, tell us and it's removed at no cost. The operator can also end the placement with 30 days' notice.

What if the machine breaks or sits empty?

Tell VendFynd. We reply within 1 business day and follow it through with the operator. If it isn't fixed promptly, we swap the operator or remove the machine at no cost. The operator is responsible for the machine, its contents and its cash.

Is it insured?

The operator carries liability insurance for its machine and its work on your site. A certificate of insurance is available where your property requires one.

Who decides what's stocked?

Your people do. We start from a quick favourites survey, and you can suggest products any time. The operator stocks requests that sell, and healthier options are available.

What happens after I submit the form?

You see an instant answer on the next screen. We reply within 1 business day, and if your site looks like a fit, we book a 5-minute site check covering traffic, space and the outlet. Nothing is placed without your signature.

I'm an operator. Is this page for me?

No, this page is for sites that want a machine. Operators looking for placements can see the operator terms and apply.
